THE REUNION

Saturday night I caught up with my two bff's from kindergarden. Between 4th and 6th grade we all went to separate school and eventually fell out of touch. Thanks to facebook we all found each other again and had a reunion. We had dinner at Rock-N-Sake and then went dancing at Red Eye. It was FANTASTIC! I can't wait to hang out again.

I had the best time catching up and reminiscing about old times. We were some strange kids, but I guess all kids are a little strange. We thought we were unicorns from "My Little Pony" until probably second grade and then we were convinced we were the witches from the movie "The Craft." I can remember my parents saying "Are you not sick of them yet?" We never left each other's side.

SLEEPY HEAD

Sorry I have not blogged this week. I have a huge Accounting Test tomorrow night that I have been intensely cramming for. I just wanted to share this cute picture with everyone. Oscar usually cuddles next to me all the time ... which doesn't work so well when I have study material spread out for miles around me. So eventually he realizes I am getting annoyed and will find a spot somewhere else to chill. This time it was in all my lovely pillows (including my new one from this past weekend in Baton Rouge). When he is not being uber hyper, he is such a sleepy head (and so cute).

Ok, back to Accounting ... Yayy! Pray for me between the hours of 6 and 9 tomorrow night ... I may need it!

HELLO SPRING, HELLO ALLERGIES

Well Spring starts tomorrow but my allergies decided to get a head start Tuesday with a nice sinus infection. This is how I am feeling tonight ...

At least I have my "B" teacup from Anthropologie to get me excited about our trip to Baton Rouge tomorrow.  It is filled with Tazo "Calm" (read the inscription on the second photo ... I want to be there!).

I also have my quilt (handmade by my great grandmother), and my sweet little Oscar to keep me warm and comfie! Let's hope tomorrow is better.

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY

Although it was rainy, Saturday's St. Patty's Parade was a wonderful day with friends and family. I got to see my 2nd family the Brechtel's (love them). Wish I had taken more pictures (I use to be so good at taking pictures, now I always forget). These are some fun things we found making our way to the car. Our food at Fat Harry's was phenomenal ... I was sooo hungry!

A+ DAY

I am in such an amazing mood today. School has been going very well this semester. I am not sure what I am doing different, but its working. I have got an A on my first test in Legal (and a Very Good from my teacher) and an A on my first test in Management. Well today was just the icing on the cake. I stayed up late last night perfecting my English Lit Paper. So I was exhausted, but my teacher passed back our midterms. When I saw a 100 on the top, I nearly passed out. Under it was the word "impressive." Impressive, my midterm was impressive! AHHH, the excitement! I called my Mom and shared my wonderful mood. She was very proud and happy for me. Then I had a wonderful lunch with my sister Ashley at Mediterranean Cafe on Carrollton Ave. It was very yummy. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. Then to make things even better, I got a call from my friend Jess about a Lupe' Fiasco concert this Thursday night. I am uber excited and ready to celebrate my great mood.

My main love for Gap is the clothes are appropriate for work, but still comfie! Some of these have made their way into my closet ... the trench coat has just gone on sale and I am so buying it! It will be my sunshine on a rainy day!

Today was my Aunt Fran's Birthday. While in Whole Foods this past weekend, Ashley spotted this card. It is so her, and so cute ... I had to share!

How great are these! Some fabulous accessories from Anthropologie. I can't wait for our little trip up to Baton Rouge so I can make some of these mine! I think the belt on the 4th row would be awesome for the St. Patty's Day Parade on the 14th ... I will be drinking my green beer here.

Doesn't my berry snack look wonderful though! It was a delicious, healthy pick me up late last night while studying for my Mang Exam. Which my Mang teacher has already notified us that "she would advise 20 people to retake the class after grading the multiple choice section of the test." That is at least 1/2 the class! So I am really looking forward to going to class Thursday. Anyways, tonight it's writing a literary analysis for my Lit class! Woohoo!
